LYSA TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) received a Chevrolet Youth Soccer Program sponsorship in 2010 and in 2011. The national program is administered locally by Lexington’s Rod Hatfield Chevrolet on New Cirle Road.

“Rod Hatfield Chevrolet is proud to help athletes in our community by donating equipment and giving them the opportunity to raise much-needed funds for their league. We are excited to be part of the effort and anticipate a fun-filled season with LYSA TOPSoccer!”
“LYSA TOPSoccer is happy to be working with Rod Hatfield Chevrolet and the Chevrolet Youth Soccer Program,” said Birdwhistell. “We’re looking forward to another great year of involvement with Chevy and a season of soccer and fun!”
As part of the sponsorship teams were offered the opportunity to sell raffle tickets. All proceeds from the ticket sales benefited either TOPS or LFC.  Raffle prizes included a Chevrolet vehicle and a home entertainment system. This year six LFC teams joined with TOPS to sell the raffle tickets. Those teams include: U-14 Girls Premier; U-13 Girls Premier; U-12 Girls Classic; U-14 Boys Classic; U-10 Boys Premier and the 95 Boys Premier.
We are pleased to announce that Joe and Paula Whitmer of Lexington were the winners of one of four grand prizes offered nationally, either a Chevrolet Cruze or an Equinox.  The winning ticket was sold by the 98 LFC Boys Classic Team.  Coordinator Karen Irving said, "While we often cringe at the word "Fundraiser" this one was super easy and raised over $400 for the team.  I took very little effort and the winners were the grandparents of two of the team members."
TOPS highlighted the sponsorship by celebrating Chevy Days on October 16 at Masterson Station Park. All TOPS athletes received Chevy t-shirts.
