Player Registration

Fall 2026 Season

Registration Opens: July 16

Registration Deadline: August 16; extended to August 23 because openings remain on some teams.

Registration Fee: $35

Financial Assistance Program
Families seeking financial aid for the Fall 2026 season should complete the 2026 Count Me In Financial Assistance Form and email it, along with proof of scholarship eligibility, to Todd Bretz at grassrootsdirector@lysa.org. Be sure to enter “LYSA TOPSoccer League” on the form.

The deadline to submit financial aid applications is August 9, 2026. Approved applicants will receive instructions for completing registration.

Registration Tips

Create or Sign In to Your GotSport Account

  • Use the player registration link to create a new account or sign in to an existing one.
  • When creating an account, use your full legal name and a unique email you expect to have for a while. Do the same for others you add to your account.
  • If you already have a GotSport account, use the same account you used last season.
  • Players must be registered under a parent or guardian account.

Register Your Player

  • Returning players (or those already listed on a parent/guardian account): Select “Register” next to the player’s name.
  • New players: Select “Registering a Child or Someone Else”
  • Add other parents/guardians to the account if applicable.

If this is your first time registering a player, you must add the player to your account before registering. Be sure you are registering under the correct player’s name.

Provide Required Documents

  • Upload the player’s birth certificate and sign the consent form during registration.
  • The director will contact you if any additional forms are needed.

Volunteer Registration

Fall 2026 Season:

Registration Opens: July 16

Registration Deadline: August 16; extended to August 23.

Buddy, check-in staff, and family & volunteer coordinator positions remain open, while coach and lead buddy positions are limited and may fill before the extended deadline.

Students whose fall semester begins after the registration deadline may request an extension.

Extensions may also be considered for other volunteers interested in available positions.

Volunteers under 18 should include a parent or guardian on the email.

  • Use the volunteer registration link to create a new account or sign in to an existing one.
  • Volunteers 18 or older during the season must have or create their own account.
  • Volunteers 17 or younger during the season must be registered under a parent or guardian’s account.
  • When creating an account, use your full legal name and a long-term, unique email. Do the same for others you add to your account.  
  • Adult volunteers who have previously completed SafeSport should use the same name and email for GotSport account as they did for SafeSport to ensure records sync correctly.

If you were previously registered under a parent’s GotSport account or under your own account using a parent’s email address, please contact us before creating a new account to register.

Register Volunteer

  • Returning volunteers (or those already listed on the account): Click “Register” next to the volunteer’s name.
  • New volunteers:
    • Select “Registering Myself” if the volunteer is 18 or older during the season.
    • Select “Registering a Child or Someone Else” if the volunteer is 17 or younger.

If this is your first time registering a volunteer, you must add the volunteer to your account before registering. Be sure you are registering under the correct volunteer’s name.

Consent Form

  • Complete and sign the consent form during registration.
  • Volunteers under 18 must have the form signed by a parent or guardian.

Risk Management & Training

  • All required risk management and training items must be completed before a volunteer role is assigned.
  • The background check, SafeSport course, & Heads Up course are due within one week of registration (if required & due).
