Dear LYSA Families,
Multiple issues between LYSA parents and referees have recently been brought to our attention.
We would like to remind all parents and spectators:
* Currently there is a shortage of referees in our state
* We appreciate young referees becoming involved in the program
* New referees are doing their best to keep the game safe
* They WILL miss some calls and/or make some bad calls
* We need these referees to continue with the program. Without them, we would not be able to play.
* Please remember that your child could be the referee one day
* No one should have to work in a volatile or hostile environment
* Any parent or spectator asked to leave the field is subject to punishment decided by the League Director. Punishment may include single, multiple or permanent game suspensions.
* Please watch this video and remember... it is only a game.
